Remind me - is a semester a season or something else? Americanisation really messed up parts of the English language... In Norway we have two semesters in one school year. You start your first semester in August and it ends in early January, then the second semester starts and ends in June. High school in Norway lasts 3 years (6 semesters), but if you are studying building trades (which I'm not) you often have two years and then go on and work as an apprentice the last year. |
