Do you think that a Golem Tree farm is overpowered? I think it is because of you just set it up and it will always run. Am I right?

Sometimes the golems are Robin Williamsed and they steal things You can specify them what to pick up(wood and saplings) and I have 3 different farms working near each other this way.

That's the same with pretty much any farm in your average modpack I know, but golems don't require power. But what requires power is creating the power for itself. But is this less overpowered than a nether lava pump?

A lot more hours go into Thaumcraft research than setting up a pump and a generator.

Yeah, The research was really annoying because I did it completely 6x times and it is not funny the 6th time. And I think the crafting and crucible and infusion for golems is also not the easiest to do. Altough I'm still not using it for power because it is not fun. And thanks for your reply:D

Balance is a relative thing. Every mod has it's way of dealing with things. Golems aren't crafted straight from the gate like most items are. It's hidden behind the research wall, of which some find bothersome.
Not everything needs jet engines, and machinery to have some form of balance. It's just exists in a different form.

I definitely wouldn't call them overpowered - there is a huge amount you have to do before getting them to run a tree farm, especially compared to a mod like MFR where it is just electricity and some materials, not hours of gameplay. They are probably the most interesting tree farm method though.
