Hey I just downloaded this pack, and forgive my ignorance but I am unable to find a guide or manual. I am familiar with osme of the mods but unsure how to get going. i know tinker's construct, but have never played with limitations on materials. I can't make any tool heads with wood, however I have no tool that can mine stone, and the generic tools for vanilla obviously don't work? How do I get started? where can I get flint or stone if I can not make tools? Thanks...

You start out with flint tools, and you can get flint simply by breaking gravel with your fist.

Okay still learning. Really would like to read a guide or even a surviving utopia video if there is one. I am still having a hard time.
1. I can never find flint I can punch gravel all day and then some, will even stack it into the sky 70 high but no matter how much I punch I can not get any flint. I did get some flint from villager who wanted gravel and a emerald I happen to find lying on the ground. I was able to make 4 tools, but not able to repair them as I can not get flint myself, with punch or shovel.
2. I don't know how to get beyond flint even when i can trade for it. I know how to do Tinker's construct. However I need at least copper ore etc, but the copper ore says it needs copper level mining to get, the flint pick axe won't touch it.....
I really could use some help here, basically a how to get started advice. I really want to get into this mod, and if I could just get to next level, I know how to make my own tools from tinkers.

Watch any Utopian's first episode on the new season, and they'll probably have a guide on how to do it. Then, if you need more help, just watch past that. All of these guys do a great job of explaining everything that they're doing.
