Just doing a quick introduction. I have been playing the Utopia³ mod since last summer I guess off and on, but only single player so far, I would REALLY REALLY like to get some multi-player going however if anyone can suggest a server. I did run my own Mad-Pack server for awhile, but as interests died in Minecraft among other friends I let it go. I have been on several Tech heavy FTB servers as well ran by a small group but their interest sadly dried up in minecraft as well. So hmm what to say about me...I'll do the old 10 things about me thing.
1.) I have been gaming on the interwebs since it was the intertelnets, and was all black and amber or green if you were lucky. That's right I go back to LP-Mud gaming! I also still have a 300 baud modem somewhere! Would you like to play a game?
2.) While I have been gaming a VERY long time on PC and dice and table top before that I only caught the Minecraft bug around two years ago. I have always been heavy into modding games though, and esp 3d games going back to Wolfenstein 3d and Ultima Underworld....so it was only a matter of time.
3.) My nick name comes from the old ww2 comic I read as a kid....yes Fury Pre-shield when he was fighting the Nazi's! I read every copy of Sgt Nick Fury and his Howling Comandos I could get a hold of.
4.) I used to dial into ORNL via modem in order to MUD, and for some reason that was "frowned" upon!!.....they were so picky about non ORNL people using their servers for some reason. long story...
5.) I still own an Atari 8-bit computer and am not afraid to use it.
6.) I am over 40...and under 50.
7.) My favorite game to play now is minecraft, as luck would have it my sons favorite entertainment is watching me play minecraft....we got a good thing going.
8.) My son who just turned 4 is my Minecraft advisor, and co-pilot, technical advisor and interior decorator.
9.) My feet have trod on 4 major continents and an island in SE Asia.
10.) I really like Choo Choo trains! I am Railfan/Train Simulator Nerd!
